Managing director Martin Coleman will take up the role of executive chairman where his focus will be the strategic direction of the company together with emerging technologies from key vendor manufacturers.
He will be succeeded by George Sanger who will take over as managing director.
Kevin McAndrew moves to operations director for the organisation with responsibility for Technical, Service Delivery and Data Centre Operations.
Steve Tron is technical director. Tron is a renowned technology strategist with over 20 years experience in the I.T industry and will run the Consulting, Engineering and Professional Services division.
Knowledge I.T’s large service delivery operation, which works to ITIL standards and ISO27001 for information security, is to be run by Mike Hoy who is promoted to service director. David Bennett will continue in his role as sales account director for the business.
The company is looking to expand its operations throughout the UK via new business, organic growth and acquisition, with the business looking to employ more sales and technical people.
The new management structure will enable Knowledge I.T to launch into new growth.

Knowledge I.T is based in Washington and has a data centre and disaster recovery centre in North Tyneside, a data centre and disaster recovery centre in Sunderland, plus office in Leeds. The company employs 68 people and provides ICT products and services to AccuRead, Formica, The RVI and Freeman Hospitals, Newcastle United FC, Mamas and Papas and The Sage.
